National Road Safety Week-2023

On behalf of Bhartiya Skill Development University, a seat belt and helmet wear campaign was conducted on 16.01.2023 from 07:45 AM to 09:00 AM at the main Domestic tariff area gate no. 1.

Being the sole educational institute in the SEZ Area or as a social obligation, the major goals of the programme were to educate people about road safety, promote our university’s brand name, and communicate our vision and purpose to the number of people that come to the Mahindra SEZ.

In summary, yesterday’s total 240+ two-wheelers such as bikes and other, 120+ passenger’s four-wheelers such as cars, jeeps, and tata magics, 80+ small commercial vehicles 50+ trucks from 07:45 AM to 09:00 AM, buses arrived and approximately………………….people arrived.

The initiative was a huge success, and it was also well received by Mahindra SEZ security and all passengers. I’m also glad to report that all passengers have participated in the BSDU campaign.

Finally, as per my ideas for disseminating information about our Skill Development Course, our University’s objective and vision, we should perform these sorts of CSR activities on this gate as well as the Mahindra phase one gate on a regular or every three months’ basis. Because around 30 to 50% of MAHINDRA SEZ’s working staff come from adjacent villages or rural regions. We may hold 06 sessions with our instructors, staff, and students per year. In the future, we may establish a Helmet Distribution programme that is also funded by outside or Mahindra SEZ management.

These projects do not require a large investment; just our efforts are required.

We paid Rs 600.00 for the BSDU banner alone for yesterday’s program.

Last but not least, thank you to President Sir, Registrar Sir, and Admin Officer for obtaining permission from Mahindra SEZ management to hold the program. We requested all BSDU personnel to participate as volunteers, however, owing to the extreme cold, only Deputy Registrar Sir, Dr. Rajdeep, both Hostel Wardens, Jeetram Choudhary, Hemraj Jat, and Library Assistant Mr Babu Lal Meena and more than 25+ students actively participated
