This book are practical and easy to follow and even a novice at cooking can understand the instructions and cook an interesting and tasty meal. These do not need very exotic ingredients and condiments which many of the household kitchens do not have. The measurements for the ingredients are convenient to follow and the cooking procedures are given in simple language and sequenced step by step using terms which are explained at the end of the book. Most of the ingredients given in the recipes are easily available in India specially in the metropolitan cities. The book includes a variety of dishes from different states and regions of the country besides the popular continental and Chinese preparations. This book will prove to be a valuable possession for the young housewife and a great help in vastly developing and expanding her culinary expertise.
